Hello from Hobart
I’ve had Spasmodic Dysphonia for 17 years and get bi-lateral botox injections in the vocal cords every 5 months . I fly to Melbourne currently as there is no neurologist in Tasmania offering the service.
I’m hanging out for a permanent “fix” for this, unreliable, voice of mine.
Putting my hand up to man a support group here in Hobart if there isn’t one already. We can at least have a laugh together ( although my trademark cackle sounds like I’ve been sucking on a helium balloon if I’ve just had injections!)
